Free Education is Compulsory

Recently only 16 years old girl, Rita Dhungel in Khatmandu, was appreciated publicly when she demanded rights of minors from policymakers and higher Government officials. Her motive and stand was to provide children free education and facilities so that they may live their life with their parents, brothers, sisters and all members of home.

Dhungel requested policy and law decision makers to amend or build new constitutions and child labor laws with core objective of free education and opportunities to children. This demand was presented also to CPN-UML Bidhya Bhandari is well known politician and is second higher official heading Communist Party of Nepal.

On the other end, children criticized that no any movement or discussion was seen while feedback collection campaign that was organized at Koteshwore so that public may put their points. Fifteen years old Arnab Gautam was also participated in public feedback campaign, he told that most of the peoples were not talking about children rights.

Childrens’ Rights worker strongly demand to make changes in draft constitution heading towards prosperity of children and future. They protested against child abuse, violence and practice/crime regarding involvement of child labours/labors.

The constitution draft shown public represents that anyone found involved in laboring of children, violence, child abuse and trafficking will be accountable and eligible to severe punishment and penalty but this draft does not state that who will be guardian of such innocents.
